301 Freedom Place South Highlights

  • 180,000 square feet in total size, an increase of 32%, from our current location, including more than 10 additional classrooms across all three divisions.

  • Dining Services will be enhanced with a 31% increase in size, including a separate Lower School dining space adjacent to the main dining room.

  • The sciences for all divisions have been consolidated on a single floor, creating the opportunity for interdivisional faculty collaboration and a better environment for student mentoring. Science spaces will be enhanced by divisional Maker spaces, as well as more advanced individual research labs with sophisticated equipment.

  • Visual and performing arts gain significant space, with a new digital arts lab, multiple music practice rooms, and a state-of-the-art black box theater.

  • The auditorium, located on the lower level, will seat 306, an increase of 15% over our current location, meeting our long time goal of accommodating an entire division.

  • A high school regulation size gymnasium with a solid wood floor will benefit all of our basketball teams. The 6,850 square foot space can be partitioned to provide simultaneous PE or practice spaces and can accommodate the entire School for special events.

  • A secondary practice gym, comparable in size to our Alumni gym, with a rubberized, resilient floor can accommodate regulation wrestling competition and half-court basketball. It features automated systems for wrestling mats and a batting cage. This gym can accommodate indoor track hurdle and high jump practice.

  • Two large outdoor recreational spaces, including a first floor courtyard and a multipurpose rooftop space, increasing our outdoor space by over 50%.
